Does anyone else wish that they had just kept the feeling of the old resident evils but keep the new controls for resident evil 5? I was annoyed at how much capcom had changed resident evil 4 and 5, including the story line, they took the story in a opposite direction just keeping the characters, and instead of making it a horror game turn it into an action game.

I wish that they had just kept the same storyline with raccoon city and kept the co-op but made it much more like the old resident evils, i know that they kind of do this in the lost in nightmares dlc but that doesnt cut it for me :/

I dunno i love the new controls they really work for the game but i think the game strayed too far away from what resident evil originally was, a survival horror, now its a over the top action game, not really any survival part about it.

No, Resident evil was bad back in the day I can't believe I actually found them fun in the N64 era. Its basically a never ending treasure hunt. I want res4 again with the atmosphere of the res5 DLC.

I think RE4 controls are fine and can be well implemented into a full on survival horror game. RE4 had an unsettling atmosphere and if they cut out the action aspects of RE4 and decrease the ammo count, you basically have one kick ass survival horror game.

i like the re4/5 type of game but maybe something in between the old and new would work well. i miss the scare factor and slower pace of the older games but i always hated the controlls and lack of ammo.

Well I hope they take RE6 back to the gaming style of 1 -3. With puzzles and as someone said earlier treasure hunt. I still remeber my first encounter with the hunter lol scared the crap out of me

I loved the DLC for RE5 as well and a game like that could work out well. I think RE4 is one of the best games to ever come out, RE5 is just to action oriented.

RE4 is fantastic. One of the BEST games I ever played. But I see what you're saying. there isnt much survival in the new RE games. The older RE and Silent Hill games was actually scary, and implented the survival aspect in the game with very limited health and weopens.
