Resident Evil 4 may be coming to PS3

...in the form of Resident Evil 4: Classic Edition.

RE4 is one of my favourite games ever and while I'm quite aware there's already 3 versions of the game, I'm praying that they add online multiplayer to the lot of extra content.

Couldn't agree more. I actually know someone who bought them all (PC, GC, PS2, Wii and PC versions) Just because he thought they would be that much different :| .. The idiot did the same with Oblivion (and that's a really old game)

But as long as people keep buying the same game for 10 years straight (it will happen)
Then companies like Capcom will go "oh, so we can just re-release the same game and the people will buy it :D HAHAHAHAHAHA. epic fail for them, epic win for us"

Believe me, I would have gladly coped with another version of the game if it included online multiplayer. Oh well, I guess life goes on!

There is no RE4, they are working hard on RE5.

Even if there is RE4 they can give it to another team it is not that hard, I played the GC version and it was awesome but I wouldn't buy it again if there is one.
