Resident evil on PSN?!?!?

Will they ever release any of the old resident evil's on the playstation network??

I loved the original for that time. I was so into that the first go. But Nemesis was kinda a new thing. The thing was fast, and it gave the horror movie, slash killer feel. If he was in the next room. Forget where you were going. You ran the other way, and kept going in till you knew he was not even close. And you never knew when that was going to happen. And that added a whole new "man I hope hes not in this room" feel. Was kidna cool.

Same here. I'm actually playing Resident Evil 4 right now and its the first RE game I've played, and I'm loving it. I would definitely buy it.

A lot of Sony haters out there... :) It may not be Sony's decision, but also Capcom's. And if Capcom Japan does not distribute to your area (say, maybe Capcom USA?), then it might be the Capcom in your country that is not doing it.

Maybe as Resident Evil 5's release date comes closer, other areas will see it. I also just saw RE: Degeneration which is finally out. All to build up the RE 5 hype...and working! :)

yes i would, but i would rather have them put the first 3 Metal Gear Solid games on first so i can get MGS 4, or make a MGS pack with the first 3 for the ps3Egyptman786

I would yes. I would buy Zero through Nemesis, my hopes would be that they add the original re-make for the gamecube but on PSN, I dont know how it would work but o man it would be amazing. Why not make a re-make of the Re-make of the original for PS3, that would rock!thirteen_zombie

I agree completely. I still play the Gamecube version, but hardly touch my playstation version.

As much as I would want it, I probably wouldn't unless they added something I don't already have.

I've got Resident Evil on the PC, which was a great version, and the Director's Cut on the PS1.

I would really only get a remake too, I absolutely loved those games when I was younger and played them through countless times over and over... Of all of them I would prefer they release RE2, it was the original high point of the series prior to RE4 and it had so much more depth and replayability compared to the others (again, with exception of RE4).

Hell, I would pay top dollar for RE4 on PSN, that would be amazing if they put that out, though unlikely.
