Resistance 2 beta thread **Post your opinions and questions here**

What do you think of it? Are you buying RFOM 2? The beta is awesome with a good amt of guns a nice tab system, and level up and reward system. Plus the customization and the awesome game modes. Plus the online Co OP is awesome. I wasnt planning to but RFOM 2, but now I want to get the first RFOM and now R2 is a must buy for me. So how many people have got into this beta?

I play medic exclusively now. A good medic is VERY valuable. I consistently top the leaderboard in my groups, but dummies who charge in are annoying :D

3 keys to a good group:

Medics that know how to heal, when to drop their special, and know how to stay out of the way.
Special Ops that GIVE AMMO
Heavies that USE THEIR SHIELD WISELY

If those three things are in place, I have a great time :D

I didn't play R:FoM online, it was boring.

And to be completely honest, I haven't beaten the story yet. I got to the part where he infiltrates some caves or something and got bored waiting for something exciting (plot-wise) to happen.

Is the multiplayer any better on this one?

I bought the qore episode that had the free beta and it still won't let me d/l it, it keeps saying it's unavalable or i already d/led, anyone buy the qore episode and have this problem?? it really sucks cause i want to check it out, bad!charx2

If you wanted it that bad then you would have known the preordering gets you into the beta the fastest and the easiest AND you put money towards a game you want.

I wish I could comment on the the R2 beta, but I can't because I didn't get in it.

You can try it on a wall or something just to see how it works.. It takes a few of those shots to kill an enemy

Resistance 2 feels great. The first Resistance felt kinda chunky in my opinion, Resistance 2 is one of the very few FPS that feel good on a console. I wish there was a kb/mouse option though :)Staryoshi87

if you bought the annual thing you get it now, in your mail not the download. if you just bought the episode you get it next week possibly in the mail too

Very well said, when those three aspects of the teamwork happen, the co-op turns into one of the most fun gameplay I have had in a while.

I'm mostly looking forward to single player story but the co-op is a fresh and enjoyable. I'm not into 60-man deathmatches though.
