Resistance 2 Beta (Your opinion)

It's an amazing a big improvement on resistance fall of man for me it's a must buy ;)

What do you think guys

Remember it's still beta and still have bugs and glitches etc..

Indeed it's really fun

But the release date for europe is late :S

you'll be happy then because the controls were slightly redesigned and it feels a bit like cod4. Such as zooming in, you do it with L1 now :D

if you read his blog, he's not getting it now. a lot of things(ok all the things) he said i just can't agree with. i've been playing the beta and its so much fun.

of course not, but i think its fantastic. best shooter ever? perhaps, games not out yet. right now i think that title for this year will be going to far cry 2 simply because of how large it is.

Resistance same as COD 4?

Does COD have the assortment of weapons that RFOM had? I don't think so.
Just because they are based in a certain era doesn't mean they are the same.:)

Really impressed with it, im not that big a fan of the deathmatch on it because ive never liked deathmatch games unless there at the speed of UT + quake on pc ect, but the skirmish is second to none, especially with 60 man multiplayer.

Ive also heard alot of people say its alot like cod4, the only thing i can see that is simmiler is the way the iron sight system work and they still differ quite a bit. other than that completely different games

Simply put, the game is fantastic (for beta standards). Even with the limited content it makes a good game, but the campaign should be amazing, especially compared to RFoM. *Pre-ordered* and if you havent played the beta yet, this just might turn out to be the best game of 2008.

I'm just not excited about it. I honestly don't see the difference between what I played from the beta and every other shooter where you plug bullets into an enemy before he goes down. I think people are amazed with how Insomniac is able to pit 60 players in one game with virtually no lag. And the sheer scale of battling a giant Chimera. I guess that's what makes it fun for so many. I like the party system incorporated in the beta. And the 8 player co-op would be fun. I'm just into tactical shooters more.

It sux.......

You lucky punk, i wish i was in the beta

Well i was in the lbp beta so its fine

Im liking the co-op alot, it can get a little hectic at times though.

As for the multiplayer, I like it but it could do with some improvements. The weapons need to be more balanced, I just don't think some of the weapons in there have a fair chance against the others, in single player or co-op they could be great, but some I just don't think are suited for MP currently. Hit detection can be a little off at times aswell. And the grenades need a better range.
