Resistance 2 is great BUT..........

I'm not saying that, just that TC is like "OMG R2 is great but graphics are not that great". I know there are preferences but the whole "this gen is about graphics" is a big pile of BS to me.

not as realistic as COD4? the amount of deatil just on 1 soldier in COD4 was impressive. The gear, the clothes were nicley detailed

I really don't like the bland graphics, yes they are an improvement over resistance 1. But still in this day and age games should have better graphics. But I'am loving the online and campaign mode. I just wish they focus on the graphics a lot more next time,redskins2156

the graphics are good but not great. alot of objects in the game have very bland undetailed textures ect. like the hatches in the first base as just one example. extreemly plain looking. over all i think the games graphics are an improvment over the first. the weapons have alot more detail and actualty have glar and shione when light hits them. the big boss's ect look realy good. just the enviroment and the chricter moddles could have used more detail. The graphics for Resistance 2 are in no way sub-par. You'd be crazy to think that they are. Granted they're not the best graphics, but I would give them an 8-9/10, so you shouldn't be complaining considering the quality of the gameplay. You would need to sacrifice framerate and gameplay in order to improve the graphics, and that would a really stupid trade-off in my opinion.

Look I perfectly know there's a lot of people with the same thoughts as you, I understand that perfectly. But I can't understand why people prefers graphics over a good gameplay.

I had a blast with R2 beta, seriously. And yet, the main reason on why people began to hate it was because "graphics are not that good" so what, man?? Probably it's because I've been playing games since I was 6 y.o back in 1986, with the Atari 2600, where the graphics were blocks, but it was fun as hell! I can honestly go back and still have fun with those games regardless of the missing ubber graphics the games "must have" today.

It's like... a while ago this guy kept whining about the graphics, and MGS4 was brought to the convo. He said that he got the MGS Essentials just because everybody said it was great, and that he could barely stand playing through MGS1. That if it wasn't because everybody said it was great, he'd think otherwise. This tells me A LOT about the mentality behind this kind of logic.

Anyway, I seriously understand you like it, but I don't wanna be labeled as "he bought his PS3 just because of the graphics" because that BS, and A LOT of people thinks like me: they bought it because the sequels of the games they like, not because of the graphical improvement.

honestly u sound more like a fanboy urself....it doesnt sucks its great...probably not as good as gears 2 (although i havnt seen it) but still very very good
