I bought Resistance, played through the first 20 minutes and watched my friend play through the rest of it. It is actually not all its cracked up to be. Sure there are some nice moments but overall it is just another shooter, better games out there but at the time of release it was the only one of value if not the only one altogether.
Resistance 2 seems very similar and barring a huge surprise, I will probably give it a miss.

He does have a point. The game, however, has absolutely NOTHING in common with halo(besides aliens)

No Seriously.. This game has nothing to do with Halo. It really does not. And neither does it have anything to do with The Conduit. And the graphics are beggining to look.... Ok.. I cant say their "HOLY !@#$ MY EYES ARE BLEEDING CAUSE THE GRAPHICS ARE SOOO COOL AND MY RIGHT SHOULDER IS BLEEDING CAUSE THAT BULLET WAS SOOO LIFE LIKE."
This is exactly what I'm thinking. Just like the other thread said, what is up with all the hate on Resistance 2? It looks amazing to me. Maybe the shooting doesn't look that much different, but the weapons have changed and so has the **** Plus the game is about scale now.

Uh, what's the point? I'm also a PS3 owner and I think the game looks fantastic. Console ownership has nothing to do with personal opinions, you know?
