Resistance 2 multiplayer problem

I just signed up to PSN, and when I try to join a custom game (competative or co-op), some of the larger ones appear in wierd letters and when I try to join one, it either says connection timed out, or could not retrieve data. When I try to do a ranked one, it says no match found. Help!!!

i got the exact same problem.....i found out it was because i bought the game of ebay and it tries to connect to the uk servers while im in australia Did you buy the game online???? But i got my own way of fixing this problem, somewhere along buying the game from this country n trading it in for killzone 2 while I get there resistance 2 disc n replace it with minetalented_gunner

i had similar prob. i could normally join to a non copetitive match but when i tried to search for a competitive match it keeps searching and never finds anything . but the prob is fixed and dont know how lolmembership1

can be internet conection cause its weird that i could join a game but not search one but now its fine.... and u belwar555 do u stil have that problem?membership1
