Well, some people say that resistance 2 is bad, others say it's great. I know it's a matter of taste, but i have money only for one game, which one should i buy?

I'm brazilian, so forgive my bad english.

Really depends on what you're looking for....but i'd say if you're willing to sacrifice online play - go for Fallout.

I would recommend you to buy Fallout 3, it's an excellent game with great replay value, from the devs of oblivion. Resistance 2 is a solid game, however I don't generally like sci-fi based shooters with aliens, but the 60 player online looks promising

The first resistance was good, i heard that in the second one there's some glitches and the boss fights aren't epic as it looks. What about this?

I bought The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion(GOTY) some months ago, and i'm still playing it. This game really have a good replay value, and i'm sure that i would like Fallout 3.

And i want the opinion of someone that played it online. Is the co-op of 60 players really good?

Well, i think i will stick with fallout 3.

I would say if you want a great single player experience, go with fallout3 (it's awsome) but if you want a good single player and an awsome multiplayer, I would have to say go with resistence.

stricty speaking, i was more impressed with fallout 3. im only a few hours into resistance 2, and its very good. but fallout 3 is great. if youve played and loved resistance FOM, then thats a good reason to get res2. but if youre new to the res series, i would say fallout3 should come first. the biggest disapointment for me with res2 is the fact there is no co-op story mode (like from the first game). there is offline co-op.. but it sucks. random missions, random maps, no story. resistance 2 is a shooter. fallout 3 is a first person exploration RPG with guns.

I will get Fallout 3, i really enjoyed The Elder Scrolls IV, and i played fallout 1 and 2, and i know that the third is very different, but that's because Bethesda developed it. And i'm sure it have a good replay value.

I don't like that much of FPS with aliens either, but the graphics looks amazing. I prefer Survival horror and RPGs in the line of Oblivion.

Thanks for the info conrads.

Oh, and i was wanting another survival horror game, but i think i already have the best ones: Condemned 2 ( I really enjoyed the atmosphere), Siren: New Translation (it's the first thing of japanese horror that i liked) and Dead Space (stunning graphics and good storyline, but gets old after the first time, i really enjoyed the game on the first time, but it can be annoying after a while.... but the trophies can keep you busy). I was in doubt with Silent Hill: Homecoming too, what you guys think about this one? I heard that the fight mechanics makes the game pretty easy to complete. But does it have a good replay value?

Thanks again, and sorry for any mistake.

Fallout 3. The first 2 games were good, but not great. But this one totally blew me away. Even after beating the main story, there are still a bunch of side missions. Also the ability to choose between good or evil, and make decisions about what you say and do like an RPG, but it plays as a 1st/3rd person shooter is also great. And the ability to choose between 1st and 3rd person views is also good too.

But it just depends on what you like, if you like a straightforeward shooter game with online, then Resistance 2, but if you are into making choices and more hours of solo play, but sacrificing online fallout 3.
