Resistance 2 VS. Killzone 2 questions

I have Resistance 2 and been thinking of Killzone 2, BUT I don't have much money and if I get Killzone, I would have totrade in R2 and some other games. I was wondering if Killzone would be worth it? Is it Sci-fi themelike R2? Is it Lag free online like R2? What's better on Killzone than R2? I would like if you guys to list the good of both games if you have played both.

This should be on the recommendation sticky but I'll keep it short and simple. I loved R:FoM, but R2 broke my heart. The new story and visualsare crapbut I do really like the online. HoweverK2 is a god, single player was done very well and the online is extremely addictive. Can't wait for the upcoming patches which will make the multiplayer even better. K2 is well worth it. I'm sorry R2, you just aren't R:FoM.

I love me my Resistance. But honestly KZ2 takes the cake on this one. The online is fun as hell although R2 is also. If you are having a lot of fun with R2 then maybe just hold out on KZ2 until you get bored of R2. My problem with online games is that there is just too many awesome ones to play and they require lots of time and dedication. I could still easily have a blast with Warhawk, R2, MGO, and Killzone 2

R2 is fun because there is a lot of action. KZ2 is also fun but IMO it is better than r2. I have barely played R2.

Take everything good about R2 then: - put it in a game and make them better, - call it Killzone 2, - Take out all co-op modes, - make it look really, really good. And there you have it; Killzone 2. All for £30.

Too bad you can't have both. Here is the deal... If you like R2 co-op a lot than KZ 2 can wait. Other than that KZ 2 does everything better than R2 IMO. Although, the gameplay in KZ 2 isn't as fast as R2 b/c of the weighty controls, which I think is a good thing.

I do like the co-op...... more than the other modes. How's the online on killzone 2? Lag free?

i would rent killzone it gets old fast

I have both. I say keep both. Both are extremely fun online. Once you get bored of one play the other for awhile and vice versa. So again find a different way to get it.

If KZ2 is a 9 game on GS then R2 should've scored no higher then an 8. R2 is fun the SP is not good as you may or may not of noticed. While KZ2 has a much better SP portion.

Coop R2 takes the cake because its good and KZ2 has none.

Comp. goes to KZ2 because of its better maps, better modes, unlockable classes, and overall gameplay. R2 is fun and I like it a bunch but KZ2 is just that much better and a great addition to anyone's library.

to be honest i think resistance2 is pretty overrated, so if you have no choice, you should sell or trade resistance2 for killzone2, you will not be disappointed
