The ending was so abrupt, as soon and Capelli pulled the trigger, the credits rolled in, I was still waiting for another cut scene. I really hope they keep Hale in R3. Also has anyone noticed that a lot of cooperative levels intel, hint to possible story lines? R3 speculation here.

you know you could be right :P i mean didnt it start in russia? it would make sense! Yeah, I think the Chimera came from Russia in the first place. Seems the perfect place to set the end of the trilogy.

yeah that makes sense, an invasion to russia to destroy the source of the problem.
ive been hearing that its most likely set in russia and you are probably going to play as capelli. although hale should be in it (due to his superhuman regeneration powers after the gunshot) sept hes pretty much all chimera now

Yes I know. I hate cliffhangers with a passion. But I don't think they will show it this year. 2010 or 2011 most likely.
I hope they'll take more time before making Resistance 3... maybe they should look and learn something from Killzone 2, if the game really rocks. Then make something as great as it is or even better... they have to make it a lot better than R2, or else I might get less interested. Maybe next year will be good enough...
Yeah, it'll be a Ratchet and Clank game. Insomniac seem to like this alternating model they've got going right now. Although I love Uncharted and am looking forward to Uncharted 2, part of me wishes Naughty Dog would treat Jak and Daxter similarly :(
I heard that you play as Capelli and the final boss is Hale. I have no link to provide proof or anything, so it could be complete B.S. I'm just saying what I read somewhere.
