Resistance 3 Confirmed? Anymore info

I remember seeing a resistance 3 billboard near a movie set. And I'm wondering is it confirmed and what other info do we have on it so far?

It's not confirmed and we have no more info. Wait for E3.

I guess I'll have to but I hope its this year. I think the movie is made by sony and is coming 2011 :(

I don't think Sony will reveal any new games before GOW 3, all attention is going towards that right now. You can bet on a Resistance 3 reveal any time after that releases. They won't want KZ3 and R3 to cannibalize each other's sales so if we cross paths with the Helghast scum again in Q4 2010, Resistance 3 will land in Q1 2011.

I want it soon and frankly if its only slightly better than R2 Insomniac out did themselves again.

I expect R3 and KZ3 to come out in 2011. KZ3 probably in Q1 and R3 in the summer or Q3.RTUUMM

Yep, here's the story. The rumor is we could see an announcement of Killzone 3 in the next couple of days!

Frankly it wouldn't be too crazy to think KZ3 could come out in 2010. KZ2 only took as long as it did because they were building the engine, and seeing as how it came out in early 2009, it would be almost 2 years at the end of 2010. And Killzone is definitely the hotter property right now, with Resistance 2 not being as well recieved as the first.

Resistance was better IMO Killzone looked nice and sold well but Resistance was a great looking and great fun singleplayer game. Killzone 2 was a better game online but the singleplayer did beat R2.

Agreed, it's feasible- development would have started in late 2008 when KZ 2 was in the polishing stages. Yep, basically a 2 year dev cycle. Insomniac were working on Ratchet after R 2 so a 2011 release means more time to work on R 3 after negative R 2 feedback. I liked R 2 more than 1 personally.

R1 had a monopoly on good games for the PS3 when it launched.

R2 had significantly more competition.
