ALSO there is a $3.99 DLC CO-OP mode that I recommend. Its a 30 round Survival 2 player mode (it takes about 2 hours to complete all 30 rounds, I completed all of it once, its pretty difficult at times, but super fun) where you have a thousand grims run towards you. The only bad thing is.............. there is no match making, meaning if you dont know any one else who has the DLC to invite to your game, then you will be playing by yourself (which you can actually, but its fun with some one else cuz who is going to revive you?)
GameSpot gave it a 8.5 and the user score was 8.5.... The metascore (91 critics) gave it a 83 out of 100. I agree that this game is around those scores.
I think it is odd that you think Resistance 3 isn't worth $9.99 but you thought Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City was a 10 out of 10..... Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is more like a 5 out of 10 at best according to all the critics and users. If horrible Raccoon City was a 10 out of 10 to you, you should have given R3 a 17 out of 10.

Just purchased this, definitely couldn't pass up on the price. I rented and beat it a long while back, but I've been wanting to go back and get the rest of the trophies and enjoy the game again.

I would buy all of them and start with Fall of Man which I think was the worse of the 3 but still very good and enjoyable. Lot of people actually believe part 1 was the best. Go to GameStop and buy it for $4.99.

But since each Resistance has new main characters, and different stories with those characters would I be ok just knowing what the story is about and just jumping into #3?

Why did you kill him, becuz he was infected and even tho he was under medication, he almost went full chimera at the end of R2, so you shot him in the head... Basically, in R2 the chimera hadnt taken over the planet yet, but in R3 they have pretty much 80%.

I also I agree with all those reviews, R3 is easily within the 8-9/10, its a really good game, really fun, very unique pretty generous giving a broken (lags) and unbalanced game (low levels have no chance against unlocks , spawn camping) a 8-9 , the game wont be even patched anymore and is probably already dead , and the coop campaign has no matchmaking so you cant even play it , not even speaking about how they reduced the player count from 60 to 16 and made it a poor COD clone , they also didnt include the great coop mode from R2 which was the best part of resistance

It was the "Deal of the Day" so it is over now. A couple days ago, I bought Need for Speed: The Run for $4.99 with free shipping from them and I got it 2 days later. I have been pretty impressed lately with Best Buy game deals. Amazon not so much.

I also I agree with all those reviews, R3 is easily within the 8-9/10, its a really good game, really fun, very unique pretty generous giving a broken (lags) and unbalanced game (low levels have no chance against unlocks , spawn camping) a 8-9 , the game wont be even patched anymore and is probably already dead , and the coop campaign has no matchmaking so you cant even play it , not even speaking about how they reduced the player count from 60 to 16 and made it a poor COD clone , they also didnt include the great coop mode from R2 which was the best part of resistance lag? after the last patch everything is working as intended and there isnt any lag. resistance games are one of few games that barely has lag. im on it 3x a week about 6 hrs each day. i havent noticed any lag. online isnt dead, so i dont know what u talking about. while it isnt cod community, it still has enough ppl for u to join and have a good time. u say low lvls have no match against ppl who have almost everything unlocked? not only thats not entirely true, but then if it is i can say the same thing about every other game that u go online to play. i started the MP a lil late, every game i joined i was always pinned down against high lvl players and i still managed to stand my ground and kill them and have a good K/D ratio. i agree that the co-op in R2 was cool and all, but hey it doesnt bother me that much. and the player count for online, well that is somewhat of a let down for me that its only 16players. but after a week playing it i didnt even care or bothered to worry about it cuz i was having fun playing it with friends. honestly man u just hating, while i respect ur opinion and by all means im not trying to bash u, but all ur excuses and bashing towards this game is only YOUR PERSONAL preference about it. otherwise the game is great, its a solid FPS, great campaign ,( with co-op ) , great MP, split-screen also. i couldnt ask for a fitting end to the trilogy for this franchise.
I just bought a new ps3 and bought Resistance 3 new soI have the online pass too. I'm gonna be playing through the campaign solo my first go around tho. I'm loving the feel of this game. I can get creepy if you are playing alone in the dark with headphones plugged into the tv.

Overall it's a great game and worth the $30 bucks I spent on it.
