Resistance Fall of Man Ending "Spoiler Warning", sequel ?

Hello,

Ok I just finnished through Resistance and loved it ! However, after beating the game, after going through the developer credits etc etc, we find a Commando team inserting next to him, basically forcing him to go along with them in the chopper ride.

It seems to me there will soon be a sequel to this fantastic game, as the war is only over in Great Britain but still wages on in the mainland.

What ya all think ?

I was thinking something similar to that and there will be a sequel and if there isn't then that is messed up.

They said that they weren't going to call the sequel that. Of course, it wouldn't really be the "Rise of Man" yet. That would probably be a better name for the last game in the series. Anyway, I bet the next one will take place in main-land Europe, maybe Russia too. Who knows? Insomniac always has something crazy up their sleeves. Hopefully we get the Resistance 2 official site around this time next year, maybe earlier. The US's and Europe's official sites were really cool and they had loads of back story.

In the upper right corner, there's a pic with three characters. The one in the middle is a Cloven. You can get the Cloven skin on Resistance's online by signing up for a myresistance account. You'll get a code. Then you'll be able to see the Cloven if you want.

The Gas Mask people are not clovens, they are special commandos, probably American and here is what I think about them:

America was supposedly not to be involved in the war but we all know it is not of their interest so it is obvious that they probably sent some elite trained soldiers as a spearhead or recon-intelligence detachment into Britain to assist way before the major US offensive with purposesto gather intelligence etc. Those soldiers seem to be very important because many of them have a emergency-locating beacon distressing SOS signals on 121.5 MhZ, many of them often happen to be around important intelligence data or new special weapons. They are however always found dead deep in enemy installations. Remember, they seem to have been the ones planting the charges on one of the bridges since a dead squad of them is found near the bridge with Intel-Map on where to place the C-4 for a 100% destruction of the bridge. You also hear radio chatter about how someone with an American accent is calling them over the radio to respond and examine what is going on, some of them also get orders to pull out. However, they seem to be a one-commando outfit, not involved with fighting alongside your soldiers.

They are shadow ops, America knew more about the enemy than people think, I am not surprised if the yanks are somehow involved with all of this to begin with.

It's definitely gonna be from the Black Ops POV this time around. The original incarnation was based on that idea, so I doubt they'd waste the previous build.

Not the best name, but a start. Thought the sequel was already in development though.

Resistance is going to be a big franchise for Insomniac, so there will definitly be a sequal. My guess is that it will be released some time in the Q3 or Q4 2008 range.cla715
