well, resistance will drop in price in about a month or so. I recommened getting uncharted now and that'll keep you busy until resistance drops in price. i played both and both are extremely good games. you really can't go wrong with either one.
yeah...that one dude didnt beat resistence in 5 hours..for a single player story mode its got at least a good solid 8-10 hours of gameplay...not even including the cutscenes...to have really beaten it in 5 hours u must have skipped all cutscenes and ran threw the levels leaving people alive...its a LOOONG game...not only long but with mulitple ways to go through the story mode...example...on one level there is a church at one end of a street...if u head for the church u must beat a dog like demon...once thats beaten u gain entry to the church...however u dont have to go that way u could go the other way down the street which leads u a completly different way...anyways to answer ur question id say get resistence...not only does it have more to offer for one player mode (i rented uncharted and played about half way through then got bored) but it also has the 2 player co-op which is a blast (tons more enemies) plus a very very solid online exp...where u can customize ur char...earn special rewards make a clan ect ect...resistence is a GREAT game i really cant believe it was a launch title because even shooters that have been released since then havnt been as good...i prefer resistence over COD4....anyhow resistence was my first game for ps3...and i will never trade that game in...its one of those games that i will never get bored with...im not saying uncharted is bad...far from it...great game just...for a FIRST game on ps3...id say go with resistence...it shows of the ps3 graphics beautifully and the controls are sharp, makes good use of the sixaxis...all around a great game...for a first time player of the ps3 its a great exp
