Resistance Game>>>>>>>>Resistance Demo

I download the Resistance demo months ago and hated it, I figured the game was crap. I read the recent article on Resistance 2 in GameInformer and it looked good so I wanted to play through the first one for the storyline. This game is great! It takes some getting used to as your health doesn't recharge (except in fourths) and you have to take your time, but the controls and story line are awesome.

This is one of those times that the demo doesn't do the game any justice, I'm glad I got to play this.

I loved Resistance from beginning to end one of the best fps on the PS3 to date good story line good graphics and excellent game play can't wait for resistance2...

Granted it was a launch title, the graphics were ok. I still think COD2 was better looking. The arsenal your equiped with seemed pretty cool, until you try to hit stuff with them. I would zoom in on a character and fire, and watch the bullet pass through them with no damage being inflicted. Did I also mention that there is horrible AI, or lackof?

I'm a multiconsole owner, so I'm not favoring one or the other, but Resistance was a poor game from the looks of it. Story seems cool, but not the gameplay. Sorry.

i thought the demo was a good representation of the game and i appreciate insomoniac giving us so much to sample from, however i didn't really care for the demo i bought the game mainly because i trusted insomoniac. The game wasn't badly made or anything like that but for me it was just such a mediocer game that i was surprised it came from insomniac.

though i think its great that they are trying something new and different, why did they have to pick the FPS genre lol. ah well just not my cup of tea as they would say i do hope they do start branching out more and taking more risks in the future, there is a wealth of talent there and i think currently its being wasted (just my opinion).

I don't know about everyone else, but the demo takes place later in the game. The actual game has a build up in skill so you play better. Personally I wasn't even able to get past a small part of the demo and I think I'm a pretty good FPS player (I've completed Halo 3 on Legendary and I'm working on COD4 on hardened). The demo definitely doesn't represent the game well. For those who haven't played it based on the demo, I suggest you rent it.
