Resistance vs Rainbow Six Vegas

I also own both but they are completly different games R6v is tactical slower paced while Resistance is a mad blast fest.

At the moment i am playing R6v more but prob because i played Resistance since launch. You need them both because of their diversity.

I have both too and just think its dependant on your style of play.

Resistance is gonna be more for running and gunning and very quick.

...While R6V is more strategic, and setting up plans and being careful, or at least how I play it.

I find R6V more enjoyable but thats cuz I like sitting in wait for dopes to run around a corner so I can send their rag doll physic

butts flying...but thats just me...

In the Overall Resistance wins. It has better server, a better lobby system, better ranking system and is very well supported by Insomniac.

For me I have to say R6V for sure... I love the online better and it is not so fast pased... like RFOM I am not so much a twitch FPS gamer but I do like te odd one... Like UT3 and Halo....

I think Kilzone is going be the happy middle that I like... simalar to Call of Duty games...

picked up resistance today and have been playing for many many hours and i got to say...helll yeaa i love this game! the guns are all pretty sweet and i like turning a corner and blasting someone before they know what hit them..this game will definitely hold me over for my main FPS until unreal tournament 3 comes out...haven't played Rainbow Six Vegas yet but I'm more into the less tactical fps's so ill stick with resistance

Both very different games to compare in style. But overall i would have to say Rainbow Six Vegas.

I honestly hate Resistance simply since its not my type of game, imo its kinda overrated and boosted but once again thats just my thought.

Rainbow is a really fun game when it comes down to it, they are both different games but i enjoy rainbow alot more.

Rainbow 6 has better multiplayer

but Resistance has a way better single player mode

me too, i own both and r:fom is my favorite of the two. r6v is great but i hate the online, i like the quicker run-n-gun action of r:fom.

Rainbow Six is much better, IMO. Resistance is kinda cool, but I just didn't think it was as fun. However, I'll admit that I've played much more of Rainbow Six Vegas than Resistance, so maybe my opinion's a little misinformed.

Nonetheless, Resistance just seemed a little cookie cutter to me.
