i have to say im not fond of the game itself. i prefer online mode to be honest. i also prefer 3rd person shooters versus first person, and i also don't like how the game map is layed out - there's really not much interaction. it looks like there's alot going on, but really there's only one path you can take. I prefer the GTA, Socom style environments, where you can go pretty much wherever you want, and still have the same objectives. But online is the best! I'm not very good, but I have lots of fun! But the gameplay itself is so much like Call of Duty. Just a different scenario with different enemies, guns, and environment. Basically the same template though.
I agree, and i think the last level deserved an "epic boss battle"... it wasn't as challenging as say when you were squaring off against multiple stalkers and widowmakers...
the ability to give at least basic commands to troops would have been nice but that's not a fault since it wasn't in the game.
as far as flaws or dislikes I'd have to say a little more free range would have been nice but IMO it didn't feel as linear generally as other games like gears of war did
Some of the more difficult parts of the game to get past became annoying if you hadn't reached a check point yet and having to wade your way back through all the chimera you had just killed. I would have liked to see more mini checkpoints or save spots spread through the levels.
i can't really find that much stuff about the game i didn't like but if i had i'd go with the loading, i didn't like the carbine rifle (looked like it was shooting lasers) and the single player allied soldiers were brainless
I didn't know it had a single player mode cause all I do is play it online. The only problem I have with the game is it needs more online boards. I hope they add boards to dl to play online in the near future. Other then that I think its a lot of funny. I too isn't really big into FPS, but I am addicted to it. At first i didnt really like the game, but now i love it. Im addicted. Love playing online especially when they update and add new things. The story is boring offline. I beat it on normal. Now im playing on hard. So when no one is online. I play it on hard offline and i die more then i do online and thats saying something cuz i suck online. Im playing hard though cuz i want to have that solider layout for online. Anyways i would say the story was the worst part. Oh and the only major flaw i saw was i could push boxes thru glass.Â
