Resitance 3 12 Minute online footage (not looking good)

Resistance 2 online was a blast, this seems like a step back. it is a beta, but the graphics look really bad compared to single player, R2 even looked better online.

It may not be a masterpiece, graphics-wise but it looks alright to me and that video did nothing but make me want to get my pre-ordered copy even more.

it doesnt really look all that much different from resistance 2. i played resistance 2 for a while and it was definately fun for a while but its nothing special really. the graphics arent that good and the gameplay isn't anything fresh or new. that game always kinda just felt cheap. rather just play black opsor something.

I could care less about the MP, I'm buyin' it for the Campaign alone, and for that I cannot wait. I'm really kind of over chasing the Next Big Thing for Online MP.

I wish they never would have changed the Multiplayer after the original Resistance. It was so much better. I did enjoy R2 to an extent but not as much as the original. Either way this is a first day buy for me.

Not many first party fps have a good multiplayer component. I'm just looking foward to the campaign/story mode.

I think Resistance 3 looks hundreds times better than Resistance 2 in both campaign and online.

I don't understand the harsh criticism this game is getting, it looks great. The visuals actually look quite good as well, they're not KZ level but they're miles better than R2.

From what I've seen they've returned more to R1 since R2. They've bought back the weapon wheel, health packs and whatnot. You can't have everything but its looking good to me.

I would never detract from another gamer's interests, so what one gamer looks for in a title is neither correct or incorrect... But it seems to me like there's a lot of emphasis on online MP with little to no thought on the game itself. I honestly don't think MP is being offered in R3 as any sort of CoD/Battlefield online-toppler. If you really enjoy MP, wouldn't you just buy "MAG" or Bad Co. one of those games which has a fully fleshed out structure & focus on MP (with the millions of rabid community members playing all the time)? I get the feeling that the MP on this game is secondary to the story mode. An add-on.

Why did they have to lower it from 60 to 16? :( I loved the hectic battles.

Well, I want it for the story and co-op. That video certainly doesn't want me to get it for the multiplayer.

the video doesn't even look that good quality, but in my opinion the multiplayer looks way better than previous resistance games and i'm buying it mainly just for the campaign

Yeah... Makes me sad what they did to Killzone 3. Killzone 2 was awesome then they made Killzone 3 way too much like COD. This doesn't look that good but I hope I'm wrong and it actually turns out to be better than I expect.

I've never been a huge fan of Resistance in all honesty.

I guess I'm one of the few people who liked the multi-player in both R1 and R2. It's a safe bet that I'll like this one too. I'll play it the month before Battlefield 3 comes out and then skip over.

Looks good to me but I want it for the Sp campaign. :)
