16th March?!?
1 week after FF13 and the same day as GoW3:shock:

Don't think it's very smart of them to release it so close to those other big titles, but I'm happy I can play it sooner rather than later. Hopefully it ends up being good. I'm excited for it, but I'm worried the battle system might be a little too overly-complicated for its own good. We'll see though.
Yakuza 3 releases that day as well, I'll be bringing home all three.SteveTabernacleYakuza 3 comes out the 16th!?:o
Well then yeah as much as I want them...both those JRPGs can go **** themselves.:P
It's surely not smart to release it among such big name franchises, but it's still day 1 buy for me and most likely the first game I play after FF13

TriAce just cant cut a break.

IIRC TriAce parted ways with SE (temporarily ATM) because they werent open to new ideas that TriAce had.
Go figure.

I'm kinda glad they parted ways. Personally, after Square and Enix merged, they went down the toilet. I much prefered the pre-merger games from the two.
Seriously, Sega has this nasty habit of taking new IPs/niche games, and for some reason running them up against hugely popular hyped mainstream series entries. Both Yakuza 3 and Resonance are doomed to retail failure coming out one week after FF13, and the same day as GoW3. Their is just no way for them to attract the spontaneous curious purchases they desperately need to make them succeed with that kind of plan. But Sega has never been known for it's market savvy, and the bad thing is, this will give them the excuse they need to not subtitle and bring over Yakuza 4 or Yakuza Kenzan. I love Sega, but it amazes me just how dumb they really are.SEGA is about as dumb as a rock...

Enix: "Guns as the default weapon? People who wear normal clothing? Men that look like men!? A pox to you!"Pretty stupid way to ruin a long and healthy partnership with TriAce if you ask me.
Makes me wonder if the Square side of the company had anything to do with the initial descision to shun TriAce.
