Trophies that can read you save data so your won't have to replay to get them.
Personally I think it's a bad idea, people could just swap save files for Trophies.

so its like if complete a challenge and save, then turn of my ps3 and go back in the game its still says i have completed it?

lol wut?
it means, that if you download 2.4, then games that you already own and completed could be patched for trophies and you will not have to replay them for the trophies that you may have already owned.
EX: if you beat the game on the hardest difficulty and there is a trophy for it, you will not have to do it again.
However, most games will not be retroactive.

nope this wont happen. for trophys to be retroactive the game must have a way to stop cheaters.
its been confirmed burnouts are retroactive because quote 1 of the devs, back during developement we decided to lock game saves to the users playstation account. if i download a 100% burnout game save it wont work because my ps accound didnt beat the game.
warhawk is locked to the users psn account of course. you can only get to your data if you log in with your psn account and once you do then they will be unlocked
