Reusing PSN ID's?

Hey, my PS3 got a system file corruption that can't be repaired, i tried going into safe mode and i used the restore default settings which apparently also gets rid of the PSN profiles that were on the PS3. When my PS3 eventually gets fixed or even if i get a new one can i still use the original PSN ID that i had before or can i not use that one anymore?

Does that also mean that Trophies are gone and online stats for COD games etc?

Your PSN ID isn't linked just to your system so you should be able to put it on a new system or put it back on your old one.
