from what i've heard Ridge Racer 2 is basically Ridge Racer but with a few new tracks or something, so you might as well get Ridge racer 2, and if you do let me know how it is cuz I might get it myself.
Well yes RR2 was really only RR with extra tracks and different tours - however there was something about the second one that wasn't quite as good and can't really put my finger on it. I have completed both games and possibly RR2 felt loads easier because of my experience of having completed RR.
Overall I'd say get whichever is cheaper since both are long games to complete and graphically and gameplay wise there is virtually no difference!
