r.i.p to my ps3

ok.. lol i'm even ashamed to post that my ps3 is messed up because on every topic where someone blamed firmware 2.4, i told the to stop lie..well today, when i turned on my ps3, it stayed at the intro screen where it says SONY COMPUTER ENTERTAINENT..i hold down the power button and it resets and does the same thing. well..i guess it is true that the firmware WILLLL mess up your ps3 . so yea, i'm from BELIZE , central america, and I bought my ps3 last march at a bestbuy in LA, so the warranty is up, and now i have a SHELL OF A PS3 .I 'm not sure if anyone here can repair it but, i'll see , but thats still messed up.

i dont kno what the hell YOU can do to prevent this from happening to your ps3. for real

i have 2.40 but haven't had any problems with it yet... hope not the same thing happens to me...

i hope you get it fixed somehow.

I succesfully upgraded my ps3 to 2.40, i hope something like this doesnt happen to mine.

i heard someone released virus to sony during the 2.4 firmware updates. dunno if its rumour or true tho...

my mom is currently in new mexico state ..and she's gonna buy me a ps3 . check this out, i was gonna get an hdtv and i had already printed out the one i wanted and gave her so she can kno which one it is. but now that i need a ps3, i guess i wont get that no more. unless its a 22 inch , that would still be kool. and to the guy who asked if i'm sure its not a yellow light..man..i kno colors, nothing is yellow , not even my teeth . lol they hack xbox 360's over here, 10 bucks US for a bootleg copy game, and they told me they'll see what they can do, but if they cant fix it, they'll still buy it from me for a 150 US lol. thats str8. anywayz , yea, hopefully sony releases another update.

man.. nah . the update was working well for me, i told people they were FINDING stupid ass things to label as problems , cuz everyone was like ' NOW I CANT DO THIS ' etc . but this morning when i turned it on, oh and my ps3 is mostly on STAND BY ..it stayed at the intro screen. but yea, as i said, the guys that run that game place where they mod your xbox 360 n what not, if they cant fix it, they'll still buy it from me for $150 . maybe i should buy one of those modded 360's ..then i can try gears of war , its just 10 bucks for a game..oh, 10 bucks BELIZE dollars is 5 bucks US. those modded 360's run for 350 US. ok laterz, if its fixed, i'll ask em how they did it, and post that here.

If it brakes after an update Sony will fix it under warranty. Can almost guarantee it - you can't use your PS3 online without the update, so they are responsible
