Rock Band 2 vs. Guitar Hero World Tour

So i was hoping to buy either rock band 2 or world tour in the next few weeks, but i had a few questions...1

1.Which bundles instruments are the best (especially the drums), i really hated rock band 1's drums, but rock band 2's play a lot nicer, how are the ones for world tour?

2. is each set completely wireless? (do i have to plug in those silly wireless adapters -- the dongles!! or will it just automatically pick it up like the it does with the controllers?

 I plan on eventually purchasing both games, but the instruments themselves (since they work on both games) and whether or not they are wireless is really what is going to influence my decision.  right now im leaning towards buying the rock band 2 bundle, what do you guys think?  Thanks!!

To answer number 2, nothing is wireless in the sense that you have to plug something in for everything, even if it's wireless.
