help!!! my rock band guitar worked fine on ghworld tour now it wont respond after the main menu it still works fine on rock band its like my playstation changed overnight any suggestions?

A friend of mine had the same problem after only having his guitar for a month.He took it back to where he bought it and the shop exchanged it.
