i bought the rockband unplugged game and i gotta say, the whole "switching insruments" aspect of the game blows!

why cant we have the option to just focus on one!?..i checked the options to see if there was a such thing and it did say

"single insrument" (or something like that) but when i went back to the main game it was still the same! Grrr!

but wait, theres more..

if your far off to the left instrument (the drums) u gotta press R1 3 times just to get to the guitar! (and vise versa)

why couldnt it be just a quck press of the R1 and it automaticly takes you to that instrument.

i know im just ranting and throwing a hissy fit lol, but there should be an option to tweak this for newbz like me :(

anyone else got beef with this? (thou im pretty sure its just me)

Switching instruments is very exhilarating and fun, although on higher difficulties they sometimes don't give you a lot of time to switch before notes start coming in. - The warm-up mode for playing any instrument you like is only for that particular mode. Tour mode doesn't work that way - You CAN set the game to switch from one end to the other, it's somewhere in the menu when you're playing a song - Great game

Mmmm no it does not suck, I actually think it is a pretty awesome feature and you actually can play a single instrument just not as a part of the tour mode only in warmup mode.

Edit:

@BenderUnit22lol you posted 2 sec. before me :)

And you only need 2 clicks to switch from the drums to the guitar... Personally, I have no real complaints about the swtiching. Though an option to focus only on one instrument would be nice.

Well there is a mode that lets you focus on the main game. I don't find switching ot be that annoying and well didn't you play the demo? I mean yo ucould have seen what you were getting into but anyways there is a mode in options I belevie that is you could just play with 1 instrument. I feel that takes away the fun of the game seeing as that gets too easy.

I think they just called it Rock Band since it's more established with more people now. Amplitude for the Ps2 is better but I think the game was basically Amplitude in disguise. Unless you knew about amplitude before I don't think many would have gotten or considered this game.
