Its ceases to amaze me how Rockstar goes all out whatever the do and do it with darn near perfection. I didn't ever read people clamoring for 1st person but yet in still Rockstar does it and makes the game look and feel totally different. I like 1st person games but its not my favorite genre. But I think I will enjoy GTA5 even more and can just go between 3rd person and 1st with a click of the game pad. How can anyone not be excited for GTA 5 in less than 2 weeks. This game will probably be game of the yr again.

Now I read how the Ds4 will flash blue and red during cop pursuits and the pad can be used to select weapons and go into 1st person mode. Rockstar couild have easily just gave us the great graphics we see with more densely populated highways, more AI pedestrians and flush grass with more animals. But Rockstar also gives us more missions, more weapons, more planes etc.

Naughty Dogs can learn how to not make a cheap A$% port and Ubisoft can learn how to make a open world game like GTA. If watch dogs was half as good as GTA 5 it would have made double or triple what it made, although I read it sold more than 7 million copies. The only reason why Watch dogs make so much was during the dry summer season with no competition.

What I am also amazed by is how no one has posted a subject praising Rockstar. Rockstar is by far my favorite develop behind Hideo Kojima. Instead of asking when the heck Drive club psn+ is coming lets all give props and applause Rockstar!!!!! I will spend another $60 with no problem and Rockstar will gobble up another 34 million plus sold copies and should convince all those who didn't buy their game last gen to get onboard

@Lulu_Lulu:

Say something of relevance other than something stupid. If its big enough for you then you can ride the Rockstar Bozack too!!!

Its amazing how many drive club post their for a busted game when we can talk positive about a great developer doing everything the right way. Instead we rather bitch about a game that may never be worth a hill of beans.

Dude its just an Open World game with Linear Missions and fuckton of shallow side activities, typical Rockstar Formula. A 1st person cam is not gona suddenly turn it into the king of Open World games again.

@Lulu_Lulu: last response to rasclots. I am in a good mood today and giving credit where it is due. This isn't a another open world game. This is the elite of all open world games that others wish they could shine it's proverbial shoes. But what I know it only sold 34 millions copies plus and make the best open world games like red dead redemption etc.

Hmmm. GTA V was just bigger prettier and more smooth than GTA IV. I am surprised that GTA has not gotten a more refined and deep hold up mechanics yet. But, this all just my my opinion. GTA V was better GTA game than IV, in most ways. Compared to other games, it just has the advantage of an open world in a city if you ask me.

@cooolio: well you're right it's your opinion but 34 million bought this game and must have felt otherwise. It wasn't the story that drove the game as much as the great heist. It was exhilarating to pull off a heist with all the planning and how to execute it with perfection. The side missions were fun and the cars drive better than most car games.

Eh. No, there was not much planning with those heist; You choose 1 option out of 2 and then you did what the game directed you to do in each heist

@cooolio: there was planning with scouting out the place with more than one person doing certain objectives. I mean this is a waste of time. GTA5 has some of the best missions in the history of video games. You may not like it but millions of others and most critics think otherwise.

Never said that I do not like it, I just do not find it to be a huge improvement. Like I said, the way you plan for missions is mostly decided by the game, that is a fact. As for the missions being some of the best in gaming history, I disagree.

Well we agree to disagree the magnitude of the impact Rockstar has with open world gaming. I don't know anyone that does it better and give you everything you wish and more.

@ewalthour

If all you wish for is bigger open worlds with more Shallow Side Missions and Minigames then yeah I'm not surprized.

You wouldn't apreciate The Phantom Pain anyway.
