What do I need to connect my PS3 and PC to the internet at the same time? Right now I switch my ethernet cable between the two but I'm getting sick of that. I know the PS3 had wifi but I'd rather have both wired with an ethernet cable. Are there modems with more then one port to connect two pcs of hardware?

definitley...you have several choices as far as wired routers..all you do is wire your modem to the router and the router can split the connection to your pc and ps3 plus u can get em for pretty cheap...check walmart.com for a Linksys BEFSR41 4-port router it should be what you need

ANY router should be able to do what you're asking about, yeah. it sounds like right now it's a straight cable from your cable box -> cable modem -> pc?
