rpg love

Im buying a ps3 real soon, so im wondering, what are you favorite rpg's?

I plan on getting a solid rpg and a great online game, witch will either be CoD4 or the new SOCOM.

RPG -> Oblivion... Particularly the Goty Edition.

Online Game -> Call of Duty4 for sure.

The best online game is Warhawk, but it doesnt give as good of a feel. I would get cod4, due to the fact it has a campaign. Unless your only focussing on online.

The Rpg Variety is very small. Tough Luck

Well I was looking forward to FFXIII until it went multi-platform, now I'm concerned it will be watered down. My RPG hopes are now solely pinned on White Knight Chronicles for PS3.jdt532

Oblivion is pretty good

Folklore has a demo out on PSN that I played and it's pretty awesome!

Disgaea games are always pretty insane if you like tactical RPGs... they story is awesome too!

I'm looking forward to White Knight Story, FF XIII, and Final Fantasy XIII versus which by the way gives me the feel that it is going to be the best JRPG out there too bad it will be a long wait for it.

Well, the PS3 is getting Disgaea 3, Valkyria Chronicles, and White Knight Chronicles on the JRPG front, and most of the WRPGs are multiplatform.

If you really want RPGs though, get another system.

Like the PS2? RPG's tend to take longer to make. There wasn't a flood of RPG's on the PS2 until a few years into it's life either. Also the incredible popularity of shooters, and the relatively short production, and it's really no wonder that current gen console games are mostly shooters. HOPEFULLY, we'll see more RPG's coming out over the next year.

I bought Oblivion and Forklore (not sure if you can consider that RPG though)

And... I downloaded Wild Arms from PSN.

Personally, I think Wild Arms is best RPG I have for PS3 (if you could consider PS one classic download from PSN PS3 game)

Seriously.... there isn't any worthy RPG for PS3 yet. You will need to wait for it.
