RPG reccomendation

Hello guys i am really getting bored right now ,just finished final fantasy xiii and xiii-2 and i think they were good enough . I am waiting for gta v ,but i want a game to fill that gap. Can you reccomend me a good rpg/jrpg for the ps3?

I m not interested in: Skyrim(i dont like the combat at all), dragons dogma,ni no kuni(i dont like the graphics,they are similar to saturday morning cartoons) and mass effect because i already finished the trilogy(they were awsome!)

Bare in mind that i m NOT a hardcore rpg fan.

Games i have in my mind: tales of xillia coming next month,dragon age origins.

Have you tried Demon's Souls or Dark Souls?

Also I hear Valkyria Chronicles is really good. Never played myself, but I've been wanting to for a while now. I just can't seem to get my hands on it.

Nier, Tales of Graces F, and Resonance of Fate

Well, you could try out "Time and Eternity." It just came out and I bought ita few hours ago. I am only in probably a couple ofhours in the game, and it seems really interesting. And it retails for $50, so that's not so bad.

I was skeptical of this game too when it came out. I wasn't sure if it was a little kids' game or what it was. But I am sure glad I gave it a shot. This game was like crack for about a month. It's my pick for GOTY, and it's my #3 fave PS3 game.

If u havent played Dragon Age Origins, and really liked Mass Effect, buy it now!!!!

Other noteworthy games: Darksiders 1 & 2, Nier, KoA the reckoning, Dues Ex HR.

Do not get Tales of Graces or Star Ocean The Last hope. They both are cheesy in the most disgusting way.

I quite liked Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, it was 80h of fun and i loved the art style of it.

If you have never played Dragon age and looking for a good RPG game you should definitely check it out.

I like Dragon age 1 and two a lot of people didn't like the second one but I did I thought it was pretty good.

As for other role-playing games you should look into

Demons Souls ( love the boss you get to fight . but it takes patience and time to get far in this game)

Dead Island games ( looking over a few glitches and bugs you can find a pretty fun co-op game that's got RPG elements like completing missions to get XP to level up your character for new abilities the basic stuff)

- DC Universe Online (fun & casual) 

- Demon's Souls (hardcore)
