Rumble isn't that important to me, but I think its a nice feature. When I really get into a game I never notice the rumble anyway so I probably won't get it.

This is one of those things where I'll use it if someone gives it to me but I won't buy it myself. But I know some people who hated the PS3 controller because it didn't have rumble. Its really up to you. Do you like rumble enough to buy a new controller?

I've really missed the rumble feature (it's strange to have it taken away after about a decade of being standard), so I've already imported the Dualshock 3. It only cost 10 bucks more than a regular Sixaxis, and I don't mind about the battery life - I mean, it's not like charging them is that hard.

Rumble is more bulky, has a rubbery touch to it, vibrates, and can be bought in white color

Prefer rumble. I just feel lost without the rumble.

I have gotten used to the dual shock 2 for the ps2.

$5 off $50(code: RE-XMA-SAA) $10 off $100( code: RE-XMA-SAB) ( expire 31st dec)

White dual shock 3 Black dual shock 3 $54.90

i feel the ds3 is a bit weak compared to the ds2. but it's cool for games like uncharted b/c i sware when i got shot from the right side the right side of the controller vibrated. i'm kinda sad that COD4 doesn't support it yet, hopefully there will be a patch, maybe?

The price looks tempting. It is cheaper than getting a sixaxis in canada it seems.

Any good feedbacks about getting a ds3? Or should i stick with sixaxis?

I'm with you, Hope I get mine by this friday so I can play some Uncharted with rumble this weekend and like you said charging is easy, is not like you have to buy batteries for it.

Being big on the 360 this past year and every other console with rumble the past 7+ years when I first picked up by PS3 controller I was sad with no rumble, it doesn't feel right. I guess the best way to describe it is it doesn't feel like im connecting with anything, and thats why I had a Dualshock 3 imported.

i have checked ebay, They are more expensive. Things are not insured.

It is only $54.90 on the first page. So the price is quite resonable.

Well I dont know if this is old news, but I heard from a gaming podcast that MS paid the company that does the rumble tec ( I forgot the name) So that they wouldint give the rumble tec to sony so they had no choice, but to release a control with no rumble. Untill sony paid them so that they can get the tec again. Back to topic the DS3 feels so more much right in your hands then the non rumble.

I'd much rather have rumble. It's been common on consoles for so long now that it feels odd to be without it. Frankly, I'd take it over Sixaxis controls any day, which feel far more gimmicky than actually adding anything to the gaming experience. And after playing the Wii, you realize how unsophisticated motion control is on the PS3. I turn it off whenever the option is there.

I don't really care about rumble or motion sensing. I just want a controller that has some weight to it and doesn't have the stupid triggers. The L2 and R2 triggers on the ps3 controllers are about useless.

MS's deal with Immersion was that they wouldn't settle out of court with Sony. This deal gave Immersion some os MS's monies, and seemingly screwed Sony out of rumble. Sony LOST the lawsuit, THEN licensed the tech from Immersion, bypassing their agreement with MS brilliantly, letting them keep MS's monies. This made MS cry. ;_;

while i will buy two when they are released here, i do not realy notice rumble being gone. when i play cod4, i am so immersed in the gameplay, that while rumble may help a bit, it certainly doesn't detract from the experience not having it.. i feel more immersed on cod4 for ps3 than i did with rainbow six vegas on 360, with rumble...

The DS3 controllers are heavier. I will say the weight is just right. Sixaxis is too light, i feel.

It really does not matter to me. The Rumble controller is neat in some games and adds a little more life to a game. But on the whole, I would not miss it that much. It really boils down if it is a must have and really it isn't.
