I really don't care to be honest. I didn't buy my ps3 to play ps2 games, I'm looking forward not back and can't wait for me be hits to come out for sony.
Such a good idea, but Sony seems too stupid to notice how many people would buy games (I would said I have a Asian 60GB, meaning I cant play US games).
I was hoping that maybe with something like that, they could announce a PS2 emulator for the 40GB, people say they can't since there is no chip, but when 40GB was first announced, I remebere a sony rep saying they could add PS2 support in the future, so there was some hope, even if its less then the 80GB even, some PS2 would be nice.
i hope its possible for them to add some support to the 40gb...if not ill get over it...if so then HOORAY! ill buy a couple...better get a bigger HDD...
Sucks to hear but it won't affect me much because I already own most of the top PS2 titles. The only games I don't have and would've liked to download would be the Silent Hill games but it's not that big of a loss.

You can find Silent Hill Collection on ebay but sadly it doesn't include the original Silent Hill.
