Gamestop is the best place to trade in your used games WHEN they are having trade in deals like trade in 4 and get an extra 40% trade in value type thing,

i traded in SR2, Bioshock, FC2, MadWorld, Skate 2, and one other game i cant remeber and due to that deal i got an extra 50% towards the trade in, and it all equaled out to 115.84 or something like that.

it is still a horrible rip off, but it sure was better than FYE who only offered me $63 for all those games, and GameCrazy was only $93 but thats not too bad consider they didnt have any type of deals going. and block buster seemes just like another FYE.

So ya, i do feel terrible, that i traded in 6 games from my collection which i am trying to expand, and in replace got two games on reserve. (Madden 10, Wolfenstein(paid off))

my friend was tellin me , he goes to a place (he lives in texas) that gives the best values for his games, he sold UFC 2009 and got $45 a month and a half or so after the game was released, but those stores are not in Southern CA.

but yea are there any other places you guys go to to trade in games that are better than the 3 i mentioned? or do you not trade in games at all.

PS: I did try Craigs List, but one person who emailed me justwanted to trade a game for a game, but i either did not want the ones he had or i already had them.

The other guy that emailed me offered his Windows 95 Laptop for six ps3 games lol.

As soon as I read that you traded games in to Gamestop, I stopped. No matter what the deal is you got ripped off you could've sold 4 of those games on ebay and gotten about 150-160 dollars. Pwned.fighter91

I traded in games once at Gamestop and I will never do it again. What helps is actually getting games that aren't like any other games in my collection so that on some weird day I just might be in the mood for some first-person-platforming, third-person-shooter, fighting, or strategy RPG.

I just buy/sell games on eBay when I can. I guess I've never sold one yet but I do get good deals for buying anyways. I'm sure I could sell all my games now at a decent price although I would probably lose $5-10 on any of them I already bought on eBay becauses the prices drop really fast.

As much as I hate trading games (because you get so little and they charge so much), if you keep an eye open for deals it isn't that bad. Around March this year, EB had a deal where if you traded in certain games you got $40 trade in value. I had to do a double-take because the "select" games were Fallout 3, etc...but then I saw Twilight Princess for Wii on there. That games is OLD. I liked the game a lot, but I beat it and did everything I would with it and couldn't see myself playing it again. So $40 is a pretty good deal. I traded it in for a used copy of Dead Space and only had to pay $7.

So normally I wouldn't EVER trade in games. But in this case I was happy I did.

I have never sold a game or traded one in. I never will either.

I rarely trade in games, but when I do I go to Game Xchange, a local chain of stores across the Midwest. It originated out of Springfield Missouri, if I'm not mistaken (or possibly Witchita Kansas).

I even just sold my BlazBlue for 100$ to a particular.

I even sold DarkSector for 20$ once, even when i saw it used for 9,99 ! :P

e-bay is the on;y place that comes to mind, tradin in games on gamestop and eb games its total rip offs
