Saints Row 2 is unbelievably better than GTA4!!!!!!!!!

I rented SR2 this week and it just blew me away; the game is basically the next gen GTA San Andreas in terms of content and most importanly-- fun. The visuals are definetly not the best but when I discovered that the game has a zombie mode plus some insanely fun side missions, the graphics were overshadowed by this. Throw in co-op and you have a winner. Anyone else share the same feelings as I do?

Does haze have online? I picked up Lair extremely cheap and I love playing bad games.

Yup Saints Row 2's online is co-op only.

I played GTA 4, bored the hell out of me.

Saints Row 2 is easily the better game, gameplay wise.8)

Well it did let me create a meganekko nekomimi girl who killed people with a katana.:P

hey i got this game a weeks ago i have infinate ammo and all the DLC's would you like to CO-OP with me i need help in the croud control im at level 5 and its f'ing hard.. lol. my PSN SN is hazeces

on what planet are u guys from yeah sr2 has some good points but thats like comparing need for speed to gran turismo no comparison in terms of depth of play and actual gameplay yeah its fun but gta overshadows it in every way if u wanted another sanandreas go play the original

Although SR2 was a helluva lotta fun, it's what hazelnutman said. If you seriously compare, the depth GTA 4 has over SR2, it's frightening.

Saints Row is fun, but calling it better than GTAIV is a long shot.

I own both games. Bought GTAIV at launch with that special edition bit. Had high hopes for it. Loved the first 30 minutes of game play. Then that damn phone kept ringing...

Picked up SR 2 not too long ago on the cheap. Recommended from many for those who thought GTA was nice but missing some "fun". Fell in love with SR 2! IT is (game play wise) what GTA would have been had they let the developers take their initial ideas and run with em.

IMHO I would say that SR2 does a better job of sand box carnage than GTAIV. But that is just using my own scale. They are games and games are entertainment. That is why we play "retro" games. they may not have the best graphics but they are still fun to play!

It has all those fun little extras but IMO, GTA IVs gunplay and driving is superior in every way to SR2 and the way i see it, most of your time in those games is spent shooting and driving so that negates all the fun activities of Saints.

I'll never know. I got the PC version of Saint's Row 2...

I like Saints Row 2 a lot better then GTAIV but then again I thought Chinatown Wars on the DS was more fun then GTAIV. I've beat Saints Row 2 loads of times and bought all the DLC for it SR2 is better then the first SR on the 360 I like the character customizion. I mostly only play Saints Row 2 on the Team Deathmatches and Strong Arm I can never find anyone else playing CO-OP as they don't have the DLC packs if people don't have the DLC they can't join your game. I can't wait for Saints Row 3 in October 2010.

My thoughts exactly.SR2 was total garbage compared to GTAIV.Not even in the same class.
