Saints row 2 or GTA 4

well both are entirely different kind of games, you cant compare them since they are open world sandbox games. I played both saints row 2 and GTA4 and i enjoyed both in a different way

Pros of GTA4

1. Great graphics during its time

2. More associated to reality of life and you get attached to characters like niko

3. Great story and immersion levels like going to an internet cafe, catching a cab, dating women

4.I thought GTA 4 was a masterpiece except that it was a bit short and you dont have much side missions like the previous GTA games.

Pros of Saints row 2

1. Extremely fun to play especially if you do the story missions co-op with an online player driving to your destination and helping you complete missions:)2.Weak story and great levels of customisation to the character and all in all both are great games

GTA4 I just didn't like Saints Row for some reason it felt a bit childish.

GTA IV for me. Saints Row 2 was great, but it lacked the polish and while messing around was much more fun, it lacked the living, breathing atmosphere of IV as well as the great story and polished mechanics. Don't get me wrong, I liked SR2's story, but it doesn't hold a candle to GTA IV's, and the shooting and driving was much less refined.

Grand Theft Auto IV. I did like "some" of Saints Row 2 in regards to the customization and the rival gangs spiced things up. Looking forward to the Grand Theft Auto V or Saints Row 3 threads:)

i prefer saints row.

Saints Row is for people who pick up GTA to just drive around and run over pedestrians.
