Force Eject: Hold the eject button down until the light flashes blue. The first flashes are for normal eject, but the second flashes are for force eject. Just hold it down until it comes out.
THE FORCE. USE IT.
Huh.
I don't know what to tell you then.

Man what the hell is wrong with these PS3's? They always seem to be having problems, no wonder they can't sell the damn things, they are expensive and they brake down. Lucky I didn't fork out the real $$ to get mine. I'd be pisssed off.

60GB models have all the problems.
Most other people just don't take care of their systems.

I read that it does, but haven't tried it myself as I've had no problems with my PS3.
It's one of those PS3 secrets similar to how if you hold the eject button for 12 seconds (without a disc in the drive), the PS3 will reset its display settings back to SD.
ur lens mechanism thingy might be messed up if it doesnt pop out in any of the ways ppl told u then u might have to send to sony or take matters into ur own hands and open it up

Ive got a 60gig one, never had a problem... This eject thing seems odd. You can send it to sony, or open it up yourself. But be careful and search the net for help first. Plus remember by opening it up you will instantly loose any warrantty you have as it couldt as modification. Please Log In to post.
