I work at a retailer and today when I went into work there was an unusually high demand for the PS3 (we're almost sold out), obviously coming directly from the 100 dollar mark down. I was just wondering has anyone else who works at a electronics/game store notice an increase of PS3 sales or is it just coincidence.

good to see that people want the ps3, jut waiting for it. If the Ps3 were the same price of the 360, it would easily outsell it by far. There would be no war if they were the same price.
well my friend went to buy one today and he had to drive all over town just to find a store that had one. I'm sure this rush is just a temp thing but sony sure is moving a lot of units now. hopefully the increase in sales won't die back down to what they have been but seeing as the dump trucks of titles start pulling into town in about 3-4 weeks I don't see it slowing too much.
It will be interesting to see how sales do the rest of this week with all the E3 hype. It might actually be really great timing and boost the sales that much more if they have a great show.
Even more interesting to me is how long the sales spike will last. There are alot lot of promising games lined up so this may be a turning point.
The 2500% refers to rank not necessarily overall sales jump of quite that staggerring a number. but the fact that the controller and bd remote jumped so high indicates a very large jump in sales
you know i dont now y so any people are such tight wods i mean i would have paid 1000 bucks for this system. and i dont think that people can compair the 360 to it cause sony is not releasing its 4th system model do to it being made like crap. i think its funny that the 360 sounds like a meat grinder. And sony cut the price to stay on top they were able to cause a part in the blu drive was holding up there cost.
