I'm new to this. i'm planning to get PSP go next month. Let's say if I download FF7 to my PS3 and start playing it. Can I transfer my save files to my PSP when I get it? Or do i have to start a new game? Thanks

You would have to start a new game, the ps3 files wouldn't match the files required to play it on the psp. it Would be corrupted.
The PS3 lets you copy saves from the virtual memory cards on it's hard drive to the virtual ones on the PSP. I've done it tons of times.
yeah the ones who said "no" are wrong. i personally did just that, several times. i bought Castlevania from the PS1 Classics and had a save file for it on my PS3 along with my save file for FFVII while playign the physical copy of that, and then when FFVII was released on the PS1 Classics, i bought it again to play on the PSP and both save files transferred and played PERFECTLY.
