Savegame Transfer?

I couldn't find any other topic regarding this matter so here goes:

I plan on buying a PSP Go when it's release and recently I purchased FF:VII and I plan on playing it on the PSP Go.
My question is: Would it be possible for me to play it on the PS3 then transfer the game AND the savegames from the PS3 to the PSP?
I'm guessing it's the same for the current PSP as it will be with the PSP Go.

Yes, just plug your psp into your ps3 and hit copy on the save file.
