You have to create virtual PS2 memory cards on the hard drive. I presume since you're PS1 saves are fine, you've created some PS1 cards on your hard drive. Just do the same thing and create PS2 memory cards.

it is lame though u have to buy that memory card reader to transfer ur saves on ur PS1/PS2 memory cards to the HDD. Of course its not an issue considering the PS3 will make me play these games over as if i just bought them.
