saving ps2 games to ps3 harddrive??

iNot sure if i read it right but i was reading a program/update on the us psn store and it said something about saving ps2 games to your ps3 harddrive if supported?...

Just wanted to know if anyone could shed some light on this?

Like what games support it and is it posssible,saving ffx on my ps3 harddrive would be great:)

It is for games that need the Hard Drive like FF XI and some other games I don't know of.

Not sure if I understand. I know you can save any compatible PS2 games save data to the hard drive after you download the PS2 data from the PSN. I have not found any games that youc ant save to the hard drive.budboarder

What "PS2 data" can you download from the PSN?

I have PS2 games that I would like to save the saved game data to the hard drive. But I must always save it to the slot 1/2 memory card thing on the PS3.

all you have to do to save a ps2 games to ur hardrive is first you need the memory card adapter to transfer your old data to the hard drive... it will pop up or just make a new memory card in the memory slots and that it........ now you can play and save ur old games on ur harddrive... refer back to the instructorsmanual and u have to lazy boys.8) :P
