The first level of Condemned scared me.
And a level in Vampire the Masqurade: Bloodlines that was deeply inspired by "the shining", it scared me silly hehe :)

im not sure if this is a PS game but in condemmed(spelling) there was a level my frined was playing that he came into a room with mannequins. everytime you looked away they would get closer til they attacked you. anyone experienced this?

Scariest game I have ever played - Bioshock (and yes, I've played Silent Hill, Doom, Resident Evil, etc.)

Silent Hill 1 was THE scariest game (at the time.. not so much more)

DO YOU GUYS REMEMBER THE SCHOOLCHILDREN WITH KNIVES??!?!!? I was scared sh*&less.

Then Silent Hill 4 was hella scary. Those ghosts chasing you around were FREAKY!!! And the serial killer that looks into your peephole!!

RE2 was on PS1. Code Veronica was the first one to be released on the PS2 if I remember correctly.

(I had Code Veronica on Dreamcast, so I am a bit fuzzy on this)

The Hotel thingy or whatever that level was? (in Vampire ofc') .. i hated that. lol. and i agree on Condemned too. but i wasn't like "OH SHIII! I'M SO SCARED I'M GONNA CRY!"-scared, it was more like "brr. creepy" i never had a moment in a game that makes me go "OMG! NOOOES i'll die in real life now!" because. it's only a game.

1- Silent Hill series. I just quit the game because i got so scared.

2- F.E.A.R---I hate unexpected noises and monsters and things comin out of nowhere

Half Life 2 - The entire Ravenholm section, I was on edge the entire time.

Half Life 2, Ep 1 - When you and Alex are in the underground parking structure and the only light you have comes from your suit's flashlight that runs out every minute or so or the flares, and then seeing the monsters coming through the darkness....

For me id have say either bloodrain or f.e.a.r. they both scared the crap out of me.
