Scarlett Johansson as Elena Fisher?

Now they are thinking about getting Scarlett Johansson to play Elena Fisher! I really wish they would just let this Uncharted movie adaption die. None of the characters are going to look like the characters in the game, and the game is already like a movie. Son of gun...lol i am just going to pretend that the movie doesn't exist :P.

Wow... And I thought the casting for "Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy" was a head-scratching, fan-upsetting catastrophe... I bet they don't even make Elena a blonde...

I don't want the movie to be made but If so I do want her to play Elena. Even though the movie will probably be horrible. How will they deal with the

As much as I love Scarlett Johansson this is just a bad choice. Other than the blonde hair, she looks nothing like Elena. Now Emily Rose, she looks like Elena and sounds like her too :P

Anything with Scarlett in it I will watch happily...and lets hope the setting is a remote tropical island so she will always be in a bikini.:D

I love Scarlett Johansson. But if she's cast as Elena Fisher, all my hope of this actually being a good movie will go down the drain. You can see it already when star power is taking the highest priority. frostybanana

The more I hear about this movie, the more I die inside. If Scarlet Johansson (terrible actor, if she didn't have a big chest no one would like her) is cast as Elena then I have zero hope for this film, pfft, film. touchyourtoes

I think Scarlett Johansson is a great actress. I think she's one of the best looking women in Hollywood but a lot of her movies, such as Vicky Christina Barcelona, The Prestige, Lost in Translation, Match Point, Girl with the Pearl Earring, etc show that she has acting chops instead of straight "paycheck" films like Iron Man 2 and The Island, where all she has to do is look pretty.

Yeah, im more for Emily Rose, or someone similar in looks. Elisha and Scarlett are just too hott to be Elena. Not that Emily isn't hot. Its just Elena isn't a mega hottie.

Fair enough, I just find her wooden and uncharismatic. I will admit to having only seen one of the real movies you listed (and both "paycheck" movies) so maybe I will give the others a view one day.

Agreed. Emily Rose is Elena Fischer. In the same manner Nolan North is Drake (though I'd accept Fillion in the role). The movie is already horribly miscast and this is coming from a huge Scarlett Johansson fan. I'd rather Emily Rose for the part.

Why don't they just use Nathan North and Emily Rose for Uncharted is beyond me but then again... when was the last time a video game adaptation has been any good? :?david_lck

So far 2 bad choices but can it posssibly be as bad as Super Mario Bros or Street Fighter the Legend of Chun Li.

I don't like Scarlett Johansson, but I'm not interested in seeing this movie regardless, so I guess it doesn't matter.

What's wrong with sticking with the people that voiced the characters. Both voice actors for Elena and Chloe also share similar looks.

I think the joke may have been lost on you.

I don't want to imagine Scarlett Johansson as Elena, I just dont. She just isn't the Elena type. Honestly though, I don't think it matters any more, from a casting standpoint, this movie is looking like a joke that will most likely be in the same category as Doom.
