Any known way to remove scratches from the screen? I'm not sure how I ended up with so many, but I'm a little upset about it and the fact that Sony couldn't make the screen more scratch resistant.

I don't think the screen should be that incredibly prone to scratching if I'm shelling out $200 for it... I spent less on my DS, have had it longer, beat the crap out of it (also beat the crap out of my GBA SP) and still no scratches on the screen.

Thanks for the link though... They have a replacement kit I can use.

not sure about removing scratches, but in terms of preventing them, im not sure if you have anything like this around but theres a kiosk at a local mall i go to that puts some crazy protective stuff on any device, its super resistant, its the same company that puts scratch-resitance stuff on aviation wind-shields and now theyre doing little things too like cellphones and psp's and stuff. I think its like $30 but it has a lifetime warranty, my friend got it done for his psp and he's gonna get mine covered too.

oh and also since i have the black slim, the protectant prevents finger-prints also, that alone is almost worth it haha.

the mall i know has this kiosk is inland center mall in so california, so if you live near there i recommend checking it out

I have a seethrough plastic cover that snaps on the PSP and is kept on indefinetly. You can take it off but what's the point if you want to protect the screen. That's why my screen is scratch free, while the protector screen isn't. You can find them anywhere, from Blockbuster to your local EB Games/Gamestop, Futureshop, Bestbuy, Walmart and everywhere pretty much.

The PSP Phat's faceplate protects the screen, but for some stupid reason the Slim' faceplate doesn't. What you get is a screen that very prone to scratches. What the heck was sony thinking?

i got one of the peel and stick screen protectors from best buy. i dont really like it though cuz the corners come loose a little but i am gonna leave it on cuz i dont want scratches, and you dont notice small scratches when its turned on anyway. btw the other systems you mentioned that dont have scratches is probably because to carry them you fold them in 2 and therefore the screen is protected, the small scuffs that are on my psp are from carrying it, not while playing.
