so i started watching a movie on netflix when i noticed that when it was a very dark screen there were burn marks in the screen, they are quite annoying and can be distracting when playing or watching on a dark part of movie. Does anyone know if this can be fixed or how it can be reduced, as it is annoying.

As far as i know, OLED screens have that a little. But it could also be your Vita, maybe it's a failed screen or something.

Did you try to set the brightness higher in the options menu? Maybe it could help.

If that doesn't help, maybe you should take a picture or something so we can see what's wrong.

Little doubt he is talking of the screen blotching "Mura effect" type things reported. These OLED screens all have what you are describing when you are in a dark room and a movie begins. It's not burn in, just a cost of doing business with this OLED screen. However just try to remember the type of graphical experience you are getting by using this system. It's a damn good screen. It's a bit annoying but not like dead pixels or anything that is "defective." It's normal
