screen fliker ps3 1080i

I have noticed that when playing games with component cables on 1080i i get a line across the screen, happens more when play ps2 or ps 1 games but noticed it a bit on ps3 game like ninja geiden demo, its like a line that looks like the screen is cut or uneven or something, anyone know anything?

Actually, yes I do too. I'm not quite sure what ur line looks like, but mine is like a discolored line of pixels that splits the screen vertically. I see it when I'm watching dvds, or playing games...

Really not sure what this is? What type of TV do you have?      

I had a little line flicker in the background when i set my output to 1080i, but i just checked my connections and it hasnt done it since, the line only appeared when i first set it to 1080i.
