IMHO i thought MLB The Show 08 was boring as heck. Yes it looked fantastic but baseball is boring unless your actually play it(and i mean physically not a game).Why do you think they got rid of it at the Olympics? Nobody was watching it. I loved playing baseball when i was younger but watching it or playing a video game simulating it just is the most boring thing ever.

The Show indeed isn't one of them. It's a sports game series that gets better every year with more content. I mean it's SCEA developing it not EA :P

I understand your point but, I seriously don't think of rehashed when it comes to The Show. 2k Sports and EA yes but The Show no way. Its understandable if you don't like baseball, The Show 08 was hands down the best baseball game I have ever played, and if you notice the long list of features added in the 2k & Show comparison on this site I really don't see it being a rehash IMO.

thats what i wanted to say :P .... sports games arent that fun .. i never bought a single sport game in my life lol ... the only way to enjoy a sport is actually playing the sport in real life ........ o well .. enjoy it i guess ... im still waiting for killzone 2 :)

True, but he's not comparing them. He's just more interested in the sports game than the FPS.

Both will be great, I'm sure, but I'm really only even remotely interested in Killzone.

SAME. Some sports games are fun, but ultimately u gotta ask urself the question: why am i playing this while i can do this in real life? Unless ur too lazy to play teh real sport or too obsessed (for a lack of a better word) about the real sport to put down the game. As for FPS's...yeah im tired of them too, but KZ2 looks to be different - bioshock is diff too (amazing AI - highly recommend it!).

Simple - I play baseball in video games because there, I'm not always relegated to "deep, deep right field". :P

I think MLB 09 looks AMAZING - I love the new stuff they're putting in it, like the custom walk-up music for batters and the ability to record your own chants for the crowd. MLB 08 was the best sports title of the year, and this looks even better; it'll be a day 1 purchase for me (already pre-ordered; comes in on March 3rd). I'm not saying forget about KZ2... but I'm certainly glad I don't have to choose just one, that's for sure!
