Hi im searching for a good racing game that has a good drifting system like Grid but with tuning systeme too
And oh yeah, under 30$, and maybe i was tinking about getting Assassin's creed or mirrors edge too, so it's a racing game or assassins creed or mirrors edge
juiced 2....i never played juiced 2, but you can tune and drift cars, jus a warning is dosen't have a "as good" graphic" and racing/drifting are 2 very different control. is under 30$, don't get assasin's creed if you're going to choose any other driving games, because assasin's creed 2and mirror's edge 2 are both coming out very soon, so YUP.....i still think initial D and Grid are the best choice.....get prostreet if you really really jus love to tune, because grid and initial D is just a very great driving game
For those of you who played Initial D Extreme stage, are all of the menu's in japanese or can you manage to enjoy and navigate the game without speaking a lick of japanese?
It is in Japanese. I got an English manual that I read to change the sensitivity to suit my pad and I looked to see where the different tuning areas are. Aero, Engine, etc but after a game or two I had memorized continue, cancel, replay buttons. Being a racing game you don't need to read text like an RPG and if your familiar with the story you know whats going on in the cut scenes. Worth picking up and it usually cost less than other racers. PSP version isn't as good and I heard a rumor of a PS3 version with online but am unsure of that.

Ridge Racer 7. Its all about drifting and you can even tune your car. It was a launch game so you can buy it pretty cheap. It has a very long single player mode, championships, single events and extreme races. There is also a mp mode where people from all around the world still play it everyday including me. The game runs at 1080p native and has an awesome soundtrack. Its a bit unrealistic but tons of fun and can be challenging.

I actually had a hard time finding this game locally, even at Gamestop they didn't have it used. I found it from Game Trading Zone, and got it for an average price, and it is being shipped to me right now. Also I don't think Ridge Racer is one of those used games you can find anywhere
