Seems like no one cares for Jade's Ass as much as Uncharted

after reading so many posts, it seems that AC is no where close to the success of Uncharted. Too bad for Jade, she was sweet.

Jade is just much hotter than her game.

AC is one of those games that does so much right that you give it a free pass on all the stuff it does wrong. I really enjoy it, even though some parts of it annoy me.

Uncharted, on the other hand, is one of the best games I have ever played. All the elements that make up a great game are here.

Basically AC was supposed to be unreal and it was only pretty good, while I didn't expect that much from Uncharted and it more than delivered. It is amazing. It's something to show off, but also something that's great to play through, sucks you in, tells a great (if typical) story, has an unbelievable soundtrack, top-notch visuals and rock-solid controls. I loved every second of it. I will play it through again a few times, for sure.

yeah, people with no girlfriends usually says stuff like that. but i'm loving the heck out of Assassins Creed. i still never had a freeze or Framerate Drop in the game. so I don't know what the crying is all about. zeforgotten

Check your eyes. The game has framerate problems, it has nothing to do with your machine or some random variable. Your game has the same FPS problems that the rest do.

Well, i'm not super human so i'm not able to see the difference in 30 and 60 fps (science proved that part). But i'm really not getting any lag. maybe it's because i'm not forcing it to run in 1080p. that's just dumb to do. But check other forums as well. alot of people are saying they have problems, and then alot of people say they don't. so it's just not me

Well sorry. You claimed to have never had a framerate drop, and acted like the difference between 30fps and 60fps is invisible to the human eye. Both of which are false statements especially the former if you have played AC.

Saying it doesn't bother you or its not noticeable is one thing, but you acted as if your statements were fact.

60 vs. 30 FPS is noticable easily. He's right. Once you hit the 40 FPS though, it's pretty hard to notice (I've been testing the differences on my PS3. It's a pain to play a shooter in 30 FPS)

Same here. I haven`t had a single slowdown in AC and I`m playing it in 720p. I don`t know what all the fuss is about :P Some people go even as far as to say that the colours in the PS3 version are bland lol. And to think my doctor says I am slightly colourblind :P

I still like the game, but im trying to get a point through to you guys. As another poster said before its not some random variable. All copies have this problem. Dont try acting like your some lucky 1 in a million that got the perfect copy.

No absolutely not. As I will also say to the above poster on his little rant.A PS3 is not like a gaming rig with its multiple variations in hardware. Consoles are consistent with there performance. Its not like your PS3 has a better gpu/cpu than mine. Im not trying to start trouble, but when I see nonsense I call BS.

This is a commonly known fact about console gaming, not some random myth like "oh my system runs the game better. I have a better copy" just give it up and enjoy your game.

Offline on a 30" Sony Wega 720pvia HDMI and well ventilated with nothing in the background. Also I never said unplayable by any means as the frame drops are mostly minor, but they are there. On top of that I have 5 different freinds living in my area with PS3s and Assassins Creed. One with a 46" 1080p Aquos lcd, one with a 40" 720p Samsung plasma, one with a 42" 1080p Bravia, one on an SD Zenith, and another with a Samsung that I dont know the specs for. We all experience the same problems though.

where are these people coming from who act like uncharted was almost some no game, very little hyped underdog that ended up taking names?

assassin's creed was embraced by the gaming industry more because its multiplatform...but uncharted was hyped out the window.

i have experiance very few things with assassin's creed. i have yet to notice frame rate issues (stable enough i could careless i suppose) and about the worst that has happened to me is the game freezing and locking up the system. while annoying it doesnt ruin what the game is for me. im glad i got both assassins creed and uncharted.

and why do people bring jade up? shes getting attacked for this, and for no good reason.

I'm enjoying AC a lot haven't had any problem with it yet. It is strange that some say it freezes and others like me have no problem with the game, some people said the new update might be causing the game to do so, I think it is a good idea if you check other games you gotthat don't havefreezingproblems and if they did then the new update is the cause.

Liquid-Prince

Wrong. I played through Uncharted and it doesn't have a single framerate drop throughout the entire game. There is screen tearing, but it's less noticeable than in Ninja Gaiden Sigma or Assassin's Creed.

People are scrutinising everything to do with AC because there is a lot wrong with it. Constant framerate issues. No night time. Only two animations for your assassinations, one for quiet and one for loud. The citizens say the exact same thing every time you save them. The prerequisites to the assassinations are always identical. The fighting system is mindless and way too easy. You can get through all of your fights with a counter or two, and they are super easy to pull off. The AI is weak. The citizens always say the same bunch of phrases when you start monkeying around "What is he trying to accomplish? He's going to hurt himself, and I'm not going to help him. What is wrong with that man?" etc.

They went for an M rating but didn't do anything to earn it besides Desmond saying "****". When Altair makes a kill, you see the sword stick into the guy, and some blood, but no visible damage to the guy afterward. The Desmond part seems really tacked on.

All in all it does enough RIGHT, enough of it is a breathtaking, awesome sandbox game (and it succeeds massively as a parkour game), that some of us are willing to overlook the shortcomings, but really, a game in development for 4 years should have been a LOT better. It sometimes feels like the gameplay is four years old. They spent too long making the game and now it's kind of dated.

Uncharted, on the other hand, is just brilliant. An absolutely top-notch game from top to bottom. I literally have no complaints, except that the story ends. It should just go on and on and on. It is clearly the much better game of the two because it doesn't have all the issues that AC has.

Basically with the subject matter and the pedigree, AC should have been a revolutionary, amazing game, but what it amounts to is one of those open-ended Spider-Man games where you save the same people over and over in the same way, and their dialogue is the same every time. When you aren't doing the assassinations you really have to make your own fun. The city isn't nearly as "alive" as they would like you to think. Nobody talks to eachother, there are no animals, no children, usually the music doesn't kick in when you're walking the streets. The second you climb a wall everyone in the vicinity starts watching you, gasping, talking about you. It really makes you feel like you're at the center of the universe, which is awful in a game about blending in and being an assassin. I think they totally bungled the whole concept and the game is the most uneven thing I have ever played. It has touches of absolute greatness and brilliance, and touches of total suck too. I give it a free pass because it's fun, especially as a parkour game, but I do feel let down. If I didn't have so many other games to play I would be upset.

AC is way better then Uncharted... The only difference is people are scrutinising every little thing AC has a problem with because it was so anticipated, while Uncharted, while being a good game, wasn't as hyped about as AC. For those who say that every aspect of Uncharted is really well done, here are some complaints:

1) The enemies get piled against you in ridiculously difficult moment that aren't exhilarating, but just frustrating.
2)I've had framerate drops far bigger and more noticeable then the ones from AC.

I'm glad I chose not to buy AC. Uncharted is great!
